GutGolf is the ultimate weight loss game for men. No gimmicks, no complicated rules — just a simple, golf-themed challenge where tracking your weight loss is as easy as keeping score on the course.

 The Rules of GutGolf 

​

1. Track Your Calories with MyFitnessPal
 

Download the free MyFitnessPal app and set your daily calorie goal. Every day, log what you eat and burn — just like marking your scorecard.

2. Earn Your Daily GutGolf Score
 

Your performance is scored just like golf:

​

  • Birdie (-1): You ate under your net* calorie target

  • Par (0): You stayed within 100 calories of your net target

  • Bogey (+1): You went over your net calorie target by 100+

  • Double Bogey (+2): You didn’t track your net calories that day

 

3. Report Your Weekly Score
 

Every 7 days, total up your weekly round and share your score with your Ten-Ball group (your online accountability group):

  • Best possible score: -7 (birdie every day)

  • Worst possible score: +14 (didn’t track at all)

 

4. Compete with Your Group & Win the Round
 

Lowest score wins the week—just like on the course. Keep track of the leader board, hold each other accountable, and stay motivated.

* Net calories: Caloric intake minus calories burned from activity. MyFitnessPal allows you to track this.
